A Girl's Reflections

The Canadian Blood Services uses this smart tagline that I love.

Blood, it’s in you to give”.

Every time I hear it I feel like running out and giving blood. Then I remember that I am perpetually anemic and unable to donate blood.

I have always thought it ironic that blood had to be drawn to determine one does not have enough of it.

Then, I saw this TED video, a blood test without bleeding, which fascinates me. I imagine this technology as the beginning of many wonderful things to come.

This invention gives me hope that one day, a true non-invasive device to test for blood sugar will also become reality.

This is an idea worth spreading.
