Juneuary
Sweaters, boots and jackets are all still a part of our wardrobes here in Vancouver. It is hard to believe that it is June when, it does not feel like it weather wise.
I loved June; she was a great gal, a true pal, whose yearly visits I so looked forward to. Then she got into a serious relationship with January.
Now, she is unrecognizable.
Looks like she has abandoned all of the qualities that made her June. Her sunny disposition has been replaced with cloudiness.
While all her friends and family are felling gloomy, she seem to think Valentine’s Day must be right around the corner. Someone please remind her that it is summer that is right around the corner. Please remind her that in seven days, summer will officially begin.
June is currently in a serious relationship with January but for me it’s complicated. I keep looking at old pictures of June hoping she will return to us.
