A Day In A Life With Diabetes
Today, November 14th is World Diabetes Day and the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting, who along with Drs. Charles Best, John Macleod and James Bertram Collip co-discovered insulin.
This year, 2011 is also the 90th anniversary of the discovery of insulin. Insulin is a gift of life for people with Type 1 diabetes like myself. However insulin is not a cure.
I had plan on writing a detailed description of what a day in a life with diabetes is like. Then, I came across the video below of Anna. She shares a day in her life with diabetes.
