Confessions Sunday – Something Beautiful

Confession #15
Flowers

If you can only buy two things, buy something to nourish you and something beautiful.
I believe it is very important to nourish your soul as much as your body.

This is my take on the old Chinese proverb –

If you have two loaves of bread, sell one and buy a lily”

Confessions Sunday – Christmas Presents

without comments

Confession #12

Blue Bow

I received my first Christmas present when I was 19 years old.

Growing up, my parents never gave us Christmas presents. My siblings and I will save up some of our lunch money and money we will receive from visiting uncles, aunties and grand parents.

Mum will take us to the store a few days to Christmas, for us to spend our saved money on what we wanted. She never influenced our choice or judged our selections.
