Spare a Rose, Save a Child
The idea is simple, on this Valentine’s Day buy one less rose for your love and share the value of one rose with a child living with diabetes in the developing world.
Otiwaa, a widowed mother of two moved her family to the city to make ends meet.
Then her oldest got sick.
Her beautiful six-year-old daughter died ten months after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
She could not afford to care for her family and buy the life saving insulin her daughter needed.
Donate the value of one rose or more to help save a child like Otiwaa’s daughter.

This Valentine’s Day, help my fellow Diabetes Advocates and the IDF Life for a Child by donating you help children living with diabetes in the developing world.
